About St. Paul's

St. Paul's Church of England, Barnsley

St. Paul's is a sister church of St. Mary's and is situated in the Old Town, Barnsley.

The building's foundation stone was laid in 1936.  It was a replacement for the existing church on the corner of Greenfoot Lane and School Street and was needed to cope with the expanding population in that area.

It is now a Grade II listed building, noted for its Art Decor features in windows and furnishings and in the sanctuary and chancel.

The hall is available for hire.
